Coronavirus Isolation Resources
Please find below resources to support home learning should families be self-isolating.
Whilst in isolation, children could also read for 20 minutes each day, practise their age appropriate spellings (spelling lists can be found in the documents section below) and practise their times table facts using Times Table Rockstars (TTRS). If your child is unsure of their login or any of their accounts please contact the academy.

TTS - Free downloadble activities for KS1 and KS2 (EYFS coming soon).
Oxford Reading Buddy - Virtual access to hundreds of books targetted at your child's individual reading stage.
Pobble365 - This website is full of fantastic and intriguing images that you can use with your child to encourage thinking beyond the picture and prompt questioning. We use this in school.
Scratch - Used by children in KS2 throughout their computing lessons, Scratch allows children to programme and create their own animations for free.
Timestable Rockstars - Multiplication and division fact practice
Phonics Play - This website is ideal for your child to practise their phonics in a fun, interactive environment. By clicking on Free Phonics Play, there is no charge.
Classic Children's Stories - Children's books with free pdf / audio files so that children can read or listen to stories.
Twinkl - Twinkl are offering free membership for a month - link below. Put in your home email address and password and type in UKTWINKLHELPS into the offer box. This will give you access to the 'Ultimate Membership' and a huge range of resources.
GoNoodle - This website helps parents get kids moving with short interactive activities. Desk-side movement helps kids achieve more by keeping them engaged and motivated throughout the day. GoNoodle is designed for children from EYFS through to Year 6.
White Rose Hub - White Rose hub is the scheme of learning that our school uses for Maths. Resources/Planning have been made free. Click on the year group your child is in and then click on a Maths area using the timetable layout.
Topmarks - Topmarks education is a website that is regularly used within school. You can use this to access support and educational games for Maths, Reading and English.
Times Table Songs - A playlist on YouTube that is used in school to help the children learn their times tables. They are very catchy!
Cosmic Yoga - Youtube clips which are great for promoting calmer moments and mindfulness. Suitable for all ages.
Newsround - Newsround is a child friendly news bulletin. Episodes are available daily.
Fun Brain - A website with free access to a range of books and resources, suitable for all ages.
