Academy Parliament

The Academy Parliament is an integral part of our educational community, providing students with a unique platform to voice their opinions, ideas, and concerns.

Comprising representatives from each year group from Year 1 through to Year 6, the School Parliament is dedicated to fostering a spirit of democracy and collaboration among students. Following annual whole school elections, the parliament initially meets to agree and sign the Academy Parliament Charter and elect students to their ministerial roles. The Academy then elect a Prime Minister and Deputy Minister from our elected Year 6 ministers.

Through regular meetings and discussions, members work collaboratively to organize events, address student issues, and propose changes to school policies, ensuring that the student body is actively involved in decision-making processes.

By participating in the Academy Parliament, students not only enhance their leadership and communication skills but also contribute to creating a more inclusive, dynamic, and responsive school environment.
